ArXiTEC microDevices participates in the ADAS10GIA project (MIG-20241199)
2025/12/18
At ArXiTEC microDevices, we are part of the ADAS10GIA project (MIG-20241199) – New safety solutions focused on researching an advanced driver monitoring system.
ADAS10GIA aims to research and develop a new generation of vehicular safety solutions based on advanced driver monitoring, driving the evolution of ADAS systems and automated driving.
This project is funded by the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI) under the 2024 call of the Science and Innovation Missions Programme, within the framework of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2024-2027, and aligned with the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
To execute the project and achieve the ambitious challenges set, a consortium has been formed, leveraging the complementary capabilities of three leading Spanish companies in different technological fields: Ficosa Automotive, KD Approaching Shannon’s Limit (KDPOF), and ArXiTEC microDevices.
In this project, ArXiTEC microDevices leads the design and development of an ADCU platform with advanced computing capabilities and high-speed optical connectivity (10 Gb/s), integrating reconfigurable hardware and high-performance processing for the execution of artificial intelligence algorithms applied to safety.
The project starts at TRL2 and aims to reach TRL4 through experimental proof-of-concept laboratory tests focused on video replication and aggregation over optical fiber, improving latency, reliability, and safety in AI applications for driver monitoring.
We continue to drive key technologies in optical communications and advanced computing for smart mobility.
